BALLIN was registered on August 14th, 2014, just a few hours after the Dogeparty platform went live and the Dogeparty BURN started where Dogecoin (DOGE) holders could provably destroy DOGE and obtain the native currency XDP which could be used to register dogeparty asset names.

The JSON was added to the BALLIN token on September 14th, 2014 in order to test the “Asset Enhancement Service” and verify that image uploads were working properly and displaying the token image on the dogeparty explorer. BALLIN was one of the first token that displayed in the alphabetically sorted “My Assets” list, and as such was one of the first tokens to be associated with an image. The image on this token is a stock image taken from a google search for the term “Ballin”. J-Dog has tried locate the original larger version of this image but has been unable to do so.

The BALLIN token has remained in its original unchanged state until November 9th, 2024 when the token supply divisibility was changed from divisible to non-divisible and supply changed from 1.00000000 to 100.
