Relic History
NISSANGTR was created on August 19th, 2014, indivisible with a total supply of 550, at Dogecoin block 342,970, positioning it alongside the earliest entries in Dogeparty’s legacy of blockchain-native collectibles. Its on-chain artwork pays tribute to the iconic Nissan GT-R, a symbol of Japanese engineering and automotive prowess — preserved immutably on the Dogecoin blockchain.
The token is the handiwork of digital artist Daniel Spiller, whose eclectic suite of Dogeparty creations fused personal interests with cultural icons. Although NISSANGTR remained dormant for years, it was revived in 2022 when Spiller airdropped the token to holders of his earlier piece, JOLLYROGER, creating a symbolic link between two of his foundational works. This act of retrospective distribution added new layers of collector intrigue to the asset, deepening its relevance in the unfolding narrative of digital provenance.
This NFT can be traded natively on dogeparty as well as part of the Emblem Vault Legacy Collection, NISSANGTR transcends its Dogeparty origins, gaining visibility across blockchains via ERC-721 compatibility. Despite its quiet on-chain existence, the token stands as a sleek monument to early experimentation — where blockchain met motor fascination in the form of a pixel-perfect tribute to speed and style.
